News from SW

Do not miss… the latest workshops to help leaders of all levels develop their confidence, competence and commitment to inspire their organisations with a sense of shared purpose. Network with like-minded people and attend workshops entitled “Solutions focussed communications”, “Supervision: managing, developing and supporting staff”, and “Who moved my cheese”. These workshops are extremely good value, and discounted for members of the Lively Leaders programme.

Running until March 2011, members of the Lively leadership programme receive 8 hours of free support. This support can come in many forms – from one of the experienced mentors, attending workshops, accessing Action Learning Sets or a mixture of these. The programme can be flexible to suit your needs.

On leadership, June Burrough (Pierian Centre), advised: “There are two key things about leadership: if you get the right people in the right position, I believe you can trust them to make sound decisions. Not necessarily the decisions that I would make, but decisions based on thought, care and ownership.”
