“Believe it or not this seaweed contains all the elements needed to create a culture of sustainable farming, healthy living a and a nurturing of the great outdoors and thanks to Business Link we are harnessing those elements for the benefit of all.

Rill Organic Transformation CIC has been set up with the concept of a community social enterprise to promote through education and training the concept of composting and its very much about education and training people in the community.

The motivation is really to impart my enthusiasm or passion for composting and the stewardship of the earth. If I can get that vision across to people then my job will be totally fulfilling.

The key benefits of working with Business Link for me is the term undergirding. They are undergirding everything I'm doing in terms of training me through attendance on their marketing courses at the centre of excellence, the financial planning, but most importantly the preparation of the business plan to make sure this is a viable social enterprise.”

[Sue Morrish, Business Link Social Enterprise Advisor]

“Business Link has helped Rill Farm in a number of ways but I think the key way that we've worked together is to help Brian understand the best kind of business model to deliver what he's trying to do. He's trying to put together a business that's about food, its about education, its about the local community and its about innovation and new ideas and how to produce some of that stuff so Business Link has helped Brian to think through the best kind of business model to put all that together and still deliver on a sustainable business model.”

[Brian Simpson, Founder]

“The advice I would give with the benefit, of the experience and the awareness I've gone through is contact Business Link because it is that networking contact, it is that undergirding of that professional expertise which is so vital to the success of the project. You can have all the giftings, all the skills, but its the preparation that you put into the project and the liaison with somebody like Business Link which is absolutely vital”
