By car, from Centre of Exeter:

Follow Topsham Road out of the city to Countess Wear roundabout (petrol station on your left). Turn left, follow Rydon Lane uphill, and turn left at the traffic lights. At T-junction (NFU offices in front of you) turn right and continue all the way down to the bollards. Follow the road up to the right past one set of offices. Enter the car park of the next set of offices on the left hand side (Taylor Maxwell). Park in the car park at the far end, opposite the offices. The RISE Office is on the ground floor underneath Greenwood.

By car, from the M5 Southbound:

Exit at jct 30, which is signposted for Crealy Park and Exeter Services. The slip road brings you to a roundabout with traffic lights, where you should move into the right-hand lane and continue, taking the 3rd exit, which is signposted to Exeter city centre (A379).
Continue along this dual carriageway until it ends do not take any slip roads to the left, i.e. continue under the flyovers, including one which welcomes you to Exeter, until the road starts to sweep around to the left. Move into the left-hand lane and continue cautiously, as upon completing the sweep you will merge into Rydon Lane, which is very busy at times.
Take the first left (after approximately 150 yds) which is signposted Pynes Hill. Ahead of you, at a T-junction, is the NFU office. Turn right and continue all the way down to the bollards. Follow the road up to the right past one set of offices. Enter the car park of the next set of offices on the left hand side (Taylor Maxwell). Park in the car park at the far end, opposite the offices. The RISE Office is on the ground floor underneath Greenwood.

By car, from A30/A38/M5 Northbound:

Continue along the M5 northbound, over the Exe viaduct. The sign for jct 30 says 'Exeter, Exmouth & Sidmouth', followed by a Granada Services sign. Please take this exit. It is also signposted for Crealy Park, Bicton and Devon Information. On leaving the motorway follow the sliproad and follow signs for exit (A379 Exeter & Pinhoe).

By bike, from Exeter St Davids station:

Distance: Approx 5.5 miles.
View Exeter county council cycle map here

When you exit the station, take a left turn and cross the level crossing on Station Road. Cycle down the path so the river is on your immediate left, following the NCN2 signs. Continue down this route along the river, passing the Quay, the Canal basin and the Bromham Farm Playing Fields.

When you reach the end of the Bromham Farm Playing Fields, follow the path round to the right and as you enter the car park where the football changing rooms are take a left turn down the path on the left hand side of the canal, continuing to follow the NCN2 signs. Continue down this path, passing the Double Locks Inn until you reach Bridge Road.

Take a left hand turn when you reach Bridge Road and cycle down the path until you reach the toucan crossing just past Countess Wear Road and Glasshouse Lane. Cross over the road and turn left, this then enables you to use the cycle path on the opposite side of the road which then feeds into the very quiet service road running parallel with Bridge Road.

At the top of this service road next to Countess Wear roundabout you will find a shared pedestrian/cycle crossing which crosses Topsham Road and leads you to the shared cycle path which goes up to Pynes Hill.

Carry on up the hill, crossing Old Rydon Lane and continue to follow the path round, cycling over the bridge with the 'Welcome to Exeter sign on it. Continue straight down and cross the bypass at the crossing opposite Pynes Hill. Enter Pynes Hill with the large, grey Norwich Union building on your right and take a right hand turn at the NFU building. Continue down the hill, passing Ludwell Lane on your left. Cycle up to the bollard at the end of this road and take a sharp right hand turn up the steep slope, pass the first drive on your left and enter the second drive. The RISE office is on the ground floor of this building on the right hand side.
