RISE is the voice for South West social enterprise and supports the development of sustainable social enterprises in the region. RISE is also the manager of the Social Enterprise Mark.

RISE is a membership organisation open to anyone who has an interest in the social enterprise agenda and is based in South West England, offering you a range of discounts to publications and events. For those that provide information, advice and support to social enterprises, RISE provides an enhanced level of membership, called RISE Additions. RISE Additions provides discounts and benefits, including discounted training and free access to the Business�Advice�Network -- to help learning and information sharing between social enterprise advisors and general business advisors.

Collaborative Approaches to Strategic Asset Management within Local Strategic Partnerships

Rural Retail Support Tender Brief

Somerset County Council, acting on behalf of Somerset�s Post Office Network Review Group is putting out to tender a contract to deliver a programme of retail support to selected shops in predominantly rural areas of Somerset.

A Qualification for Tender Preparation Professionals

Staff in charities and third sector organisations now have the opportunity to gain an accredited qualification in Tendering. Following almost twelve months of work, and with support from the Open College Network (London Region) the OCN qualification at level 3 in Tendering and Procurement Practice (TaPP) is launched today.

Future Jobs Fund: do you need more staff?

This fund is designed to create jobs for young people and individuals in unemployment �hotspots�. The Social Enterprise Coalition have worked hard to reduce the minimum number of jobs per bid from 100 to 30 to ensure that it is more accessible to social enterprises. However, if you can offer even 1 or 2 jobs, then bids are being coordinated both nationally and locally to help social enterprises collaborate as part of a consortium or in a partnership.
